Kantcon was an eye-opening experience, being one of the larger conventions i have gone to in there area. This is one of the most successful TTRPG conventions in the area and despite it not being a huge market it was engaging and there was never a dull moment. I didn’t learn much other than to read the fine print to determine if you need booth coverage the entire time (a great friend of mine saved the day by helping out when i had to run a game).

What can i say, presentation is everything and getting to know the people you are near is key, even if you aren’t in the same line of business.
